Dr Bukachi Chairman Medical Physiology addressing the New Class of 2020

The Department of Medical Physiology in the School of Medicine College of Health Sciences was glad to welcome new students to undertake Bachelor of Science in Medical Physiology (Intercalated) course.

After the admission of the class of 2020, the students’ representatives had an opportunity to be taken through orientation to the department.

The orientation was led by the head of the department Dr. Fred Bukachi, who welcomed them and wished them well in the course of their studies.

During the meeting, the chairman discussed their programs, course objectives and content, theme areas, schedules and medical physiology research areas of interest and resources.

The students expressed their expectations in regards to quality research that can be featured in renowned journals of science and health.

The meeting was held in the Department’s Seminar room and attended by examination officer Dr. Peter Waweru.

Dr. Waweru introduced the students to the Department’s mentorship program as a necessary ingredient in preparing them for their career growth.
